December 13, 200916 yr lei ha una presenza attoriale e una capacità interpretativa del testo recitato che vanno anche al di là della padronanza della lingua. è vero ma bisogna dire che l'aspetto attoriale in lei risalta più che nella Serra perché si tratta di due impostazioni registiche del tutto differenti, molto più "barocca" quella in cui canta la Damrau e più minimalista quella della Serra. In ogni caso pur riconoscendo la bravura della prima preferisco la versione della Serra che mi pare più adatta al tipo di vocalità che richiede il ruolo. Ma...Sumi Jo nel ruolo come vi pare? mi è venuto in mente questo video abbastanza divertente in cui Karajan verso la fine, durante un'audizione, le fa improvvisare la prima aria della Regina della Notte:
