A un tratto alza lo sguardo e vede passare una bambinetta che porta una mucca lungo la strada polverosa. Al che le va incontro, le si avvicina e le chiede: "Quanti anni hai, bella bambina?" "Cinque" fa la bambina, timida. "E dove porti quella mucca?" le chiede lui. "La porto dal toro che deve montarla" risponde la bimba. Indignato, il contadino sbotta: " Ma e` scandaloso! Una bambina piccola come te che porta da sola la mucca a far montare dal toro! Questo e` un lavoro che deve fare tuo papa`!"
