Leonardo86 Posted January 20, 2008 Share Posted January 20, 2008 Secondo me è stato uno dei gruppi più importanti,prolifici e capaci degli anni ottanta nonchè una delle più famose band del panorama rock mondiale. Amo molto il loro sound e le loro canzoni in generale sia quelle più impegnate,evocative e profonde come Tunnel of love o Brothers in arms che quelle più spensierate e dal ritmo più andante come Walk of life. Voi cosa ne pensate di questo gruppo? e soprattutto che opinione avete di Knopfler come chitarrista? Knopfler riesce ad ottenere dalla sua chitarra un suono dolcissimo... *__* Poi Brothers in Arms è struggente....oh, e il "duetto" che ha fatto con Clapton suonando Layla? Cmq mi riferisco alla musica, i testi non li conosco molto sinceramente... La band più "vecchia" che mi piace ed ascolto sono i Depeche Mode, poi non mi dispiacciono anche i New Order e gli Smiths... Tornando ai Dire Straits ho appena preso a mio padre qualche ristampa su cd dei loro album, lui li aveva solo in vinile...! Erano tutti in supersconto!
