Visto che in Italia c'è ancora parecchia confusione, anche tra gli omosessuali, sull'uso di termini come coming out e outing, cerchiamo di fare un po' di chiarezza  :salut:

 

Coming out: è l'abbreviazione di coming out of the closet (letteralmente, "uscir fuori dall'armadio") e indica la rivelazione della propria omosessualità a qualcuno.

 

Outing: spesso confuso con il coming out, è in realtà un'altra cosa: si tratta di "sputtanamento", ossia di rivelare ad qualcuno l'omosessualità di una terza persona a sua insaputa.

 

Coming home: è un termine meno usato, che indica il portare a casa il proprio compagno/a per farlo conoscere al resto della famiglia.
