La cosa o The Thing, è un film del 2011, prequel dell'omonimo film La cosa del 1982.

 

Antartide, 1982. In un cratere viene scoperto il relitto di un'astronave extraterrestre da un team di ricercatori norvegesi. La paleontologa Kate Lloyd viene reclutata dal dottor Sander Halvorson e dal suo assistente Adam per esaminare il reperto. Una volta giunti alla base norvegese sono avvisati che è stato trovato un corpo di un essere alieno sotto il permafrost. Durante gli esperimenti, la "cosa" appunto torna in vita, seminando terrore tra i membri della base. Nonostante la morte di qualcuno di loro, il dottore intende non rivelare la scoperta per fregiarsi il merito nella comunità scientifica, ma Kate intuisce che la creatura ha la capacità di imitare qualsiasi forma di vita, animali compresi, assorbita attraverso la digestione, ma non elementi inorganici e di conseguenza, andrebbe bruciata. Ogni elemento della "cosa" ha vita a sé stante e tutti alla base cominciano a sospettare di tutti, poiché ciascuno potrebbe aver perso la propria forma umana. Il fuoco è l'unico in grado di annientare il mostro ed evitare che si riproduca o riprenda vita sotto altre forme...

 

bello sì mi è piaciuto molto! e poi c'è anche l'attore di ncis los angeles quindi un voto in più solo per quello :)
