Redrum 327 è la trasposizionein manwha (i manga coreani) di un popolare telefilm thriller coreano. La storia vede protagonisti sette ragazzi che nel più classico dei canovacci si recano in vacanza in un cottage isolato. Qui pian piano inizieranno ad essere assassinati, e quel che intriga il lettore non è tanto il cercare chi sia l'assassino (abbastanza facilmente intuibile fin da subito), quanto il tentare di scoprire il movente del suo gesto. Un intreccio serrato, claustrofobico in certi momenti (e uso il termine non a casaccio), che regge bene anche alcuni problemi narrativi derivanti dall'adattare un prodotto audiovisivo.

 

L'edizione è ottima, in rapporto al prezzo. Nel tipico stile Flashbook le pagine a colori sono su carta patinata e il volume ha sovraccoperta a effetto "lucido" sulle immagini. Una lettura intensa e piacevole che renderà [*spoiler*]meno innocente ogni gioco di bambini che vi troverete ad osservare[/fine *spoiler*]

Nota: il titolo, da leggersi allo specchio, è una citazione - omaggio a Shining, celebre romanzo di King (Tradotto ottimamente in film da Kubrick), e qui il gioco di "specchiamento" della parola assume una nuova valenza (di più non dico per non spoilerare ulteriormente)
