Ian McKellen supera Elton John

 

LONDRA - Effetto Codice da Vinci anche sulla Pink List britannica, la classifica dei più potenti gay del Regno dove l'immancabile Elton John si vede privato della sua leadership da Ian McKellen. L'attore, già nello stellare cast del più recente film di Ron Howard, si posiziona in cima alla top 101 pubblicata ieri da The Independent on Sunday nell'ultimo giorno dell'Europride, "celebrazione dei più influenti uomini e donne gay del paese".

 

Si deve dunque accontentare del secondo piazzamento la stravagante popstar e novello sposo, mentre al terzo posto trionfano gli specialisti del primo appuntamento online Gary Frisch e Henry Badenhorst, noti come fondatori e padroni del popolare sito di appuntamenti gaydar.co.uk. I due fidanzatini new entry scalzano peraltro dal terzo posto Peter Mandelson, commissario Ue per il Commercio, che scende al quinto posto. Mentre saldo al settimo rimane John Galliano, fashion designer e couturier, che ha legato il suo nome allo stile Christian Dior, pur mantenendo una sua firma indipendente, molto amata dalle donne-fashion victim. Lo stilista è anche titolare di un sito tutto rosa, dal quale è possibile madare una mail d'amore, a scelta indirizzandola a Miss Galliano o John Galliano. Bisogna invece scendere di diverse posizioni per trovare la prima lei in classifica, dopo una schiera di 13 uomini. Si tratta di Dawn Airey, Managing Director di Sky Networks e autodefinitasi regina di "football, films and fucking". Un po' in discesa anche due certezze del panorama rosa: il mattatore Stephen Fry (dal 21 al 23) ed il cantante George Michael (dal 22 al 25), al centro delle cronache ultimamente per una serie di disavventure legali legate alla droga ma pronto a ritornare sotto i riflettori con il suo primo nuovo album in studio dopo molti anni.

Cioè... insieme a Patrick Stewart è uno dei piu' grandi (se non il piu' grande) attore shakespeariano in vita...

Sono contentissimo. Io lo adoro Ian McKellen, è un grande attore soprattutto, come già detto, di teatro. Ricordo ancora all'intervista che è stata fatta sul Codice Da Vinci in cui diceva: "Molti sostenevano che Gesù fosse gay. Beh, questo film mostra.. che non lo era!"

Sir Ian McKellen prima di Gandalf e Magneto è comunque uno dei più famosi e bravi attori Shakespeariani (in particolare per Macbeth).

Mi fa piacere comunque, lo ammiro molto. Oltre che un grande attore è sempre stato attivissimo per i diritti gay.

Comunque sì, Ian è un grande attore di teatro, specie shakespeariano... indimenticabili le sue interpretazioni di Macbeth e Riccardo III! Sarà perché in entrambe emerge il suo lato insospettabilmente folle.
